Brand new trailer for Wreck-It Ralph

The Disney animated movie to make videogamers very happy has a new trailer. Meet Wreck-It Ralph...

We’ve had the pleasure of sitting through quite a lot of footage for the upcoming Disney animated movie, Wreck-It Ralph. We are, thus, very excited, because it's genuinely looking like it will live up to its potential.

This is the film, after all, that sees an 8-bit computer game character, Wreck-It Ralph, who grows tired of being the villain in the same old game. Thus, he does the only logical thing: he decides to explore other ones.

This all means that the film, directed by Rich Moore, can explore lots of videogame worlds, can drop in cameos from a series of characters familiar to avid videogamers of the past 30 years or so, and can generally look awesome.

Now, there’s a brand new trailer, too, and it’s done nothing to dampen our enthusiasm. The movie comes out on November 2nd in the US, although sadly we have to wait until February 15th 2013 in the UK. Take a look at this, though, and see what you reckon…

It looks really promising; a kind of animated Scott Pilgrim.

Although hopefully (this is totally my opinion) it will actually carry more of the charm and substance that Scott Pilgrim seemed to lack in such great measure. I remember the audience in the cinema not 'getting' the entire thing, and while I understood the jokes and gags as a games fan, it still made for dull viewing personally. This, however, looks highly boosted by a more well-rounded cast of B-list stars (who've had more experience) and some great visuals. I'm really looking forward to Wreck-It Ralph...it's just a shame UK viewers have to wait until February to see it!

This could be alright. when exactly is the "holiday season"?

This puts a big stupid grin on my face! looks great

Cant wait...By the time it comes out in the Uk it will be on Blueray almost in America, and I will get it from my fav Extratorrent website and enjoy watching it at home ....

Exactly, I'm gonna be bouncing up and down like a loon in the cinema.

Near Xmas time. That's as good as yer gonna get :)

I don't normally go in for these sort films, wait for them to be shown on TV and then discover they're actually pretty good. This is the first one I've seen a trailer for that's making me want to go to the cinema instead of waiting.
