Teaser trailer emerges for V/H/S: Viral

Trailer Ryan Lambie 15 May 2014 - 09:55

Static, screaming and scenes of terror. It's the new teaser trailer for found-footage anthology sequel, V/H/S: Viral...

Like a cross between Tales Of The Unexpected and You've Been Framed, the V/H/S series has served up bite-sized chunks of shaky-cam fear and loathing since 2012.

Last year's V/H/S 2 offered up a superior anthology of horrors, with Raid director Gareth Evans' segment, co-directed by Timo Tjahjanto, being a particular highlight.

The next collection, called V/H/S: Viral, will bring together such directors as Nacho Vigalondo, Marcel Sarmiento and Todd Lincoln for yet more short-and-sharp tales of terror.

These tales, we've learned, will take in a serial killer, portals leading to alternate worlds, death cults on the hunt for teen skaters. As you've probably guessed, the teaser trailer below contains some moments of bloodletting which could be considered not safe for work. You have been warned.

V/H/S: Viral is due out in 2015 in the UK. When we get a more solid release date, we'll pass it along.

I love the VHS films. Can't wait for this.

Seconded. Each volume has at least one chapter that just stays with you for weeks...

Really enjoyed the first two, especially the second as it improved on the problems of the first so well and delivered some really great ideas (especially the zombie one which I think borders on genius).
