New Twilight spin-off already being planned?

Breaking Dawn Part 2 may not be the last you've seen of Twilight...

With the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 this November, it would have seemed that the Twilight franchise was drawing to a close. After all, there are no more Twilight books, and the leads are getting to an age where they'll arguably have outgrown their roles.

However, all that goes against the fact that the Twilight movies have been an enormous cash cow, and inevitably, there's been some work done on how to prolong the franchise. According to Moviehole, there may well have been some progress on that front.

The site's source reveals that "they're already onto the [Breaking Dawn] follow-up". It adds that "they’ve heard everything from a TV show or film spin-off, merely set in the same world as the one in the movies but not featuring the main trio, is being seriously considered, with The Wolf Pack, one area of interest”.

Moviehole's tentacles are usually good on stories such as this, and while we wouldn't expect any news this side of the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2, we wouldn't like to wager that that'd be the last we see of Twilight.

More news on it as we get it.

Fair enough. The world of Twilight isn't that bad in all honestly. It's the character of Bella and the increasingly lazy film making which make them unwatchable films for me. So the idea of a spin off involving other aspects of the Twilight mythos would be interesting.

While I think they should just let this franchise die I agree. It would actually be quite an exciting world if not focused on a self obsessed twit, a 100 year old stalker and a cry baby.

Damn it! This was sooooo nearly out of my (and my fiancée's) life. How do I brainwipe her into just being the awesome geek she is, without all the chick flick accompaniment?

It'll just be like Teen Wolf or along those lines...

No, no ,no, no, no, NO !

I wouldn't mind a TV show about the wolf pack at La Push, they are the most interesting characters by far. Maybe with those Italian vampires as the villans. That could work.

Here's a crazy idea that might work. Terminator vs Judge Dredd vs Batman vs Twilight.
