Has Twilight Breaking Dawn finally found its director?
Could Bill Condon be calling the shots on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Twilight Breaking Dawn?
Entertainment's search for a director for its final Twilight movies has seen it chasing some prestige names. Among the helmers linked with the project have been Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant. But it's turned out that one off the wishlist, Bill Condon, could have bubbled to the top.
Condon, who previously helmed Dreamgirls and the wonderful Gods And Monsters, is apparently now Summit's top choice to direct Twilight Breaking Dawn.
Deadline reports that the director has entered into negotiations with Summit for the job too, and that, if successful, he's likely to direct the two films that the company is looking to make out of Breaking Dawn.
Summit will be making the movies back to back, and is looking to get them before the camera by the end of the year, presumably with one eye on a winter 2011 release for the first of them.
We'll keep you posted, as always.
