First poster for The World's End

Poster 14 Jul 2012 - 14:31

Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright have the green light for The World's End, as the first poster arrives...

It's full speed ahead on the final part of the Cornetto trilogy, that thus far has consisted of Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz. Simon Pegg is again teaming up with director Edgar Wright, and Nick Frost too, as the trio are set to start production on the movie in October, with a release set for 2013.

The film has now been officially greenlit by Universal, although the starting pistol was all-but-fired earlier in the year.

Still, to celebrate the news, the first teaser poster for the movie - which hints at the pub crawl in store -  has popped up over at Deadline. And you can see it right here. The World's End is comfortably one of the 2013 releases we're most eagerly awaiting...

Hmm...I'm not sure but in the link on Simon Pegg's tweet, the poster had 'The King's Head'.

no it didn't

Pub Crawl?

it actually did, and still does

apocalyptic pub crawl? featuring a corneto?

of course - what better way to meet the end the world then with a pub crawl.

This should be interesting...

Should be a green poster? Or am I colour blind?

Oo flashback to uni days and the Mumbles Mile. . .

The only bad thing about this is that it's the end of the trilogy

A shame they didn't add 'The Winchester' just for a bit of fun. Can't wait for this :D
