Mid-way through the end credits of The Wolverine, there's a special scene that you might not want to miss...

Just a quick one. If you're planning to go and see The Wolverine when it arrives in cinemas next week, then don't rush out of your seat once the end credits start to roll. That's because Hugh Jackman has confirmed to CNN that there's a post-credits sting waiting for you.

Having seen the movie now - our review is here - we can confirm that it comes about half-way through the end credits, and in the words of Jackman himself "if you stick around to the end of the credits of The Wolverine, you’re going to get a really nice little Easter Egg for what Days Of Future Past has to offer".

He doesn't reveal what the scene is, and we've not going to spoil it here. But it is worth the wait, and it does go on for a surprisingly long time too.

The Wolverine arrives in cinemas on 25th July.

1. The order in which the movies where released.
