The latest trailer for Gareth Evans' sequel to his terrific The Raid. Meet The Raid 2...

We still don't have a date when we can expect Gareth Evans' sequel to The Raid in UK cinemas, but now that the film has had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, we can but hope we've not got long to wait.

Sony has announced a limited March 28th release in the US, and as we wait to find out more news of when we get it here, a brand new trailer for the movie has been released. Which we take great pleasure in bringing to you here.

The Raid was superb. We suspect The Raid 2 might be really rather good too. Here's the latest trailer...

Can't wait for this, saw the first one in a late showing at our local multiplex (the only place locally that showed it sadly) there was only the four of us that went in there, can honestly say it was one of the best times I've ever had at the cinema, we were whopping and hollering like it was our own front room. Bring it on.

I cannot believe how insanely good (and violent!) this looks.

Who would have thought a little fella from Wales could make such a thing.

Hollywood take note... THIS is how you do it.

(however, please please please do not try and remake The Raid for people who refuse to read subtitles)

i thought they already were working on a remake. Which is just dumb!

I went with a mate to see the 1st one at an Odeon the weekend it came out. There was only 4 of us in there as well...

You weren't one of those 4 were you?? haha

HA HA no, I went to a Vue (didn't want to name the chain, I should probably point out now that other chains are available for your viewing pleasure). Actually to say there was only four of us isn't strictly true, there was a couple a few rows in front of us, the first fight scene kicked off, the knife went into the knee, she turned to him, said something and that was that lol, I get the impression he'd sold it to her as something else, either that or it was early doors and he hadn't 'done the deed' yet, that's pretty much the only reason Id allow myself to get dragged out of the cinema by someone I was on a date with. Assuming they WERE on a date of course.

Apologies for the double post people.

Haha, fair play on the guy for trying!

Guy: "Er... hun, theres this new chick flick called The Raid out tonight, you fancy it? Whats that? You've never heard of it? That's odd. Well it has James Franco and Ryan Gosli... oh you want to go? Great.

By the way, you like reading right?"

Is the main actor the same as the first one (sorry, can't remember his name)?

Yeah it is

They already did...
It's called "Dread".

Unimpressed, there is just way too much talking and pauses in between the fight scenes. We need more fighting!

Have they dropped the 'Berendal' subtitle?

Don't be silly.
