Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in The Lone Ranger. Here's a new international trailer for it...
Disney has won its first blockbuster gamble of the year, with Sam Raimi's Oz The Great And Powerful enjoying a storming first week at the worldwide box office, and the movie heading at speed towards $200m of revenue. A sequel, too, has already been all but confirmed.
Its second big money gamble is arguably the riskier one. Disney has spent over $200m on the film alone for Gore Verbinski's upcoming take on The Lone Ranger, which sees Armie Hammer in the title role, and Johnny Depp as Tonto. As we've said all along, in the film's defence it's spent a large chunk of that change on practical, rather than CG, work. However, in another summer packed with comic book movies and big sequels, it's going to be quite a challenge for The Lone Ranger to hit big.
For now, a new international trailer for the movie has popped up online, which showcases some new footage from the film. And we've got that for you right here to take a look at.

depp's so called 'eccentricities' stopped being entertaining about 3 pirate movies ago.
I feel like they'll have released the whole film in various trailers before the actual film comes out.

Still confusing what the movie is about. I remember a trailer a couple of months ago that started out with a bit about great power and the building of the railroad, then segued into something I don't remember.
