New promotional material for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 has landed...

The third of four films of The Hunger Games trilogy arrives in cinemas this November, with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 picking things up from the ending of Catching Fire. Mockingjay is a tricky book to adapt in one film, let alone two, so we're genuinely fascinated to see how director Francis Lawrence and screenwriter Danny Strong have managed it.

Lionsgate is ramping up publicity for the film, which arrives in cinemas on November 21st this year, with the release of some new images and a brand new poster for the movie. That said, you could take the title off the poster and it'd work for any of the films in the series so far.

Might there be a trailer not too far away, we wonder? Quite possibly. For now, here's the new imagery...

Good to see a bit more PSH, I wonder what the CGI or whatever theyre doing to fill in the PSH sized gaps will look like.

Haymitch is looking a bit more focused and tidied than previously! Looking forward to this, but as the article says, Mockingjay is a tough book to put on film. I'm not even sure it worked that well as a book.

My least favourite by far book out of the three, looking forward to finding out what the filmmakers will pull out the bag.

Coin looks amazing!

It didn't, book 3 was easily the worst of the series. It didn't even come close to the previous 2 and the second half was so contrived my disbelief suspended itself from the end of a rope.

Will be interesting to see what they come up with though as the previous 2 films were pretty damned good.

I read online yesterday that since PSH had only a week left of filming before his passing, so most of his role was complete. They plan on covering the remaining stuff with rewrites (giving any important lines to other characters) and a few CGI tricks. Hopefully it won't be noticeable.

ah yes, i read that too.

Holy crap, when i glanced at this earlier i only concentrated on PSH and thought the woman he's sat next to looked a bit like cher. only now do i realise it Julianne Moore!

The posters are always so boring. I get that they're trading on the familiarity of the Mockingjay, but change it up already!
