New trailer for The Great Gatsby

Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan star in Baz Luhrmann's film of The Great Gatsby. Here's the brand new trailer for it...

Pushed back from its original December release to a new summer 2013 slot, Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby looks like a visually luxurious adaptation of the book.

The film sees Leonardo DiCaprio reuniting with Luhrmann (following their work on William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet), with the cast also featuring Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire. And we've got a new trailer for the film that's just been released. It might be too early to talk the 2014 Oscars, but at the very least, there's a production design nod in the offing here.

Here's the trailer, and the film is set for UK cinemas on May 17th 2013.

I really can't wait for this film.

Not entirely sure why it's being made for 3-D though? Is that really going to add anything to this story? Probably not.

What a horrible music at the end.

Eugh, it's going to be full of Luhrmann's annoying visual flourishes isn't it? Why can't he just make a film that is actually good?
