It looks like phase three of the Marvel cinematic universe is set to give us a lot more Thanos...

Considering how wonderfully he was teased at the end of the first The Avengers movie, it's surprising how little we've seen of the character of Thanos. He's popped up in Guardians Of The Galaxy and Avengers: Age Of Ultron since, but it sounds like we'll finally get some proper Thanos quality time in the two upcoming Avengers: Infinity War movies.

Josh Brolin is playing the role, and he's been chatting to Superhero Hype about the work ahead in bringing Thanos to the screen.

"It’s not voice work, it’s mo-cap. I’m there. I’m there and I’m not in a booth. I’m being filmed. I have a bunch of crap on my face. [laughs] I’m being filmed by like 34 cameras? 35 cameras? Something like that. Every movement, everything. So, it’s very new to me, it’s very exciting, it’s very unnerving. But I sure trust these guys!", he said.

And whilst he wouldn't go into story specifics, Brolin did add that "we’re supposed to get together very soon to talk about the trajectory of Thanos in the next few years and it’s very exciting. It’s one of the better decisions I think I’ve made".

We await developments with interest.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is due in April 2018 in the UK, and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 arrives in April 2019.
