Arnold Schwarzenegger considering new Terminator, Running Man, Predator movies?

News Simon Brew 7 Mar 2011 - 06:52

Could Arnie be looking at three of his previous hits for his return to the big screen? And what else is he working on?

Since he ended his stint as governor of California, and since he signalled that he'd be heading back to the movies, there's been a fair amount of debate over which project will see Arnold Schwarzenegger back on the big screen (outside of his Expendables cameo). And while the speculation has been rife, the man himself has now put forward a few thoughts of his own.

Talking at The Arnold Classic, an event where he meets fans, Arnie said, "Well, first of all, it's more 15 films [that he's considering], obvious ones from The Terminator to remakes of Predator and The Running Man and all of those things."

Predator and The Terminator might be obvious, but this is the first we've heard about Arnie and a Running Man remake. Given that The Running Man is a bit of a favourite around these parts, this is news we'd be keen to hear more about.

Arnie went on, meanwhile: "Then also a lot of original stuff too. But I am also packaging a comic book character right now. I'm going to announce that sometime by the end of March or the beginning of April."

Once he's made that announcement, we'll bring you the news...
