Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon headline the upcoming comedy Tammy. Here's the first trailer...

Warner Bros will have high hopes for Tammy, the new comedy starring Melissa McCarthy. With a supporting cast that features Susan Sarandon, Allison Janney (for which the film earns bonus points) and Kathy Bates, Tammy tells the story of a woman - that'd be Tammy - who loses her job and finds out that her husband has been cheating on her. So what does she do? She takes her foul-mouthed grandmother (played promisingly by Sarandon) on a road trip.

The film's been directed by Ben Falcone, who co-wrote the screenplay with McCarthy (the two are married) and also is part of the cast. It's his feature directing debut, and a first trailer for the film has now landed.

Set for release in July, here then is our first look at Tammy...
