Taken 3: director returns, Forest Whitaker linked
Olivier Megaton, the director of Taken 2, will be back - along with Liam Neeson - for Taken 3.
Work continues on the upcoming Taken 3, which will see Liam Neeson reprising the role of Bryan Mills for the third time. He's set to be joined once again by Maggie Grace in the role of his daughter, with Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen penning the script. We're promised a slightly different story approach this time, so don't be surprised if the film ends up being called Taken 3: Not Taken or something like that.
Anyway, there have been one or two developments here.
Firstly, Olivier Megaton, who directed the really not very good second instalment, has signed up to direct Taken 3. And secondly, Forest Whitaker is being targeted as a new addition to the cast. The film could be before the cameras as early as March.
More news on Taken 3 as we hear it. And a nemo to whoever is in charge of the UK release of the film: stop with the 12A shit this time please. Thanking you.
