New casting call for Star Wars: Episode VII
Star Wars is on the hunt for its cast in New York, and this is apparently what JJ Abrams is looking for...
The casting process for Star Wars: Episode VII continues, and over at Showbiz411, the folks there have got their hands on a casting sheet for the film. It's marked as for 'Untitled Studio Feature', but the 'Untitled Studio Feature' is being directed by JJ Abrams and backed by Disney. Star Wars it seems to be.
So, over in New York, who are they looking for? Three principal actors, specifically...
"[YOUNG MAN] Early 20s. Handsome, but not necessarily heroic. He is witty and smart. Physically fit. [MAN] Late 20s. Physically fit, handsome and confident. [YOUNG WOMAN] Late teens. Physically fit, raw energy, independent and with a great sense of humor."
A previous casting call had previously gone out in Los Angeles for several more roles, but given the narrower search, it's likely that some of those have now been filled. It's the three above then, we're guessing, that remain problematic. Do their charactertistics sound just a little bit familiar to you?
Furthermore, Jedi News is linking two more actors with roles in Star Wars: Episode VII. The site reports that Ksenia Solo and Liam McIntyre are possibles for roles as the daughter of Leia and Solo and a Jedi respectively. Both should be treated firmly as rumours, of course, until there's any sign of an official announcement.
