Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City sequel won't be arriving for another year...

If you're one of those eagerly awaiting the brand new Sin City movie, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, then there's some not very happy news to pass your way.

It's been revealed that the film, which was originally set for release on October 4th 2013, has been put back nearly a year. The new release date for the movie is August 22nd 2014. No official reason has been given for the delay.

The main footage for the feature, which is once again being directed by Robert Rodriguez with Frank Miller, has been shot. There's the small matter on the lengthy post production however, and we wonder if that's taking a little longer than originally planned. That's guesswork on our part though.

We'll have more on the film, which stars Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as we hear it.

More like, 'Sin City : A Dame To Wait For'

Or is it because they are adding more Channing Tatum?

Thats my second Eva Green fix (after the 300 sequel) thats been delayed til 2014. GODDAMNIT!

They probably have a lot of special effects work to do around all the wormhole and warp drive sequences, so it's understandable ...

I may switch sides in the 300 sequel and root for Queen Eva Green's team, but I don't think I can go with her in this one.

Any chance that the fab Jess Alba plays a stripper who does actually strip this time??

Yawn. Does anyone really care about this anymore? Zzzzzzzzzzz
