New trailer for Silent Hill: Revelation

The second Silent Hill movie is arriving in cinemas this October. And here's the new trailer for it...

In the not-particularly-impressive history of videogame movies, Silent Hill is actually one of the best. Granted, that's not saying much, but at least there's something to it.

It did decent money at the box office, too, and that's led to the making of a follow-up, by the name of Silent Hill Revelation. It's in 3D, as you probably would have guessed, and this time the movi eis being directed by Michael J Bassett. Bassett previously helmed Solomon Kane, a divisive film that a fair few of us here have a lot of time for.

I actually really like the original. Visually it's quite haunting, and when I watched it a second time recently, I didn't even mind the über-CGI climax.

I love the Silent Hill games (Homecoming was a bit meh compared to earlier ones, but still damned terrifying), and I thought the first movie was about as close as they could get it.

I'm looking forward to this one.

I am a MASSIVE fan of Silent Hill (1) but not the games. I think this film could be a decent enough follow up, But!!!! why oh why 3D??? Until we get total immersion lets dump this 3D thing.....please, pretty please.

However, I'm not sure I want total immersion in Silent Hill??????

Sean Bean has done so many different roles of all sorts I am not sure that comment is even worth thinking about. No one is tired of his acting, because its excellent. How about we leave it there? Oh yeah; He is hottt.
