Quentin Tarantino pushes ahead with The Hateful Eight
Reports claim that Quentin Tarantino’s sophomore western may be back on despite the infamous script leak…
Here’s a surprising one. After attempting to sue Gawker Media and publically shutting down production on The Hateful Eight, it seems Quentin Tarantino has had a change of heart.
"The Hateful Eight will roll this November,” Showbiz 411 claimed recently. “Sources I’ve talked to have said the cast will gather in Wyoming to begin shooting then. That cast will include Samuel L Jackson, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, and all the actors who recently participated in the live reading of The Hateful Eight that took place after the script was 'leaked.'”
“Those would be also Kurt Russell, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walt Goggins, and Zoe Bell,” it was added. “Sadly, two time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is not in this movie after his award winning performances in Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained."
As always with news not confirmed by the source, this should of course be taken with a pinch of salt. No high-profile denials have followed yet though, which makes it seem more likely that this thought-doomed production is back on and Tarantino may be returning to the Old West afterall.
