Lots of character posters for Kick-Ass 2

The likes of Hit-Girl, Kick-Ass and Mother Russia get their own character posters for the forthcoming Kick-Ass 2...

While the UK promotional campaign for Kick-Ass 2 has yet to kick off in earnest, in other parts of the world the promotions are already well underway. Thus, last week we had a US trailer for the forthcoming movie, which we've broken down here. And now there's this collection of half a dozen character posters for the film, which have appeared online at Cine1 in Argentina.

Note then that the UK release for the film isn't August, as you may have seen on the promos thus far. Kick-Ass 2 is marked down for Friday July 19th in the UK as things stand, arriving in most other places in the world the month after (although, interestingly, the film will make its bow in Asia, releasing in several countries there from June 28th).

And for now, we've got these six character posters, which we've split over two pages, to save on loading times. You should be prewarned that there's a rude word on one of them, just in case you're offended by such things. We like to check....

Looks like they have been quickly taken down on the Argentina site, you can still find them on google image search and they look awesome

Cor, who's Night Bitch?

wheres doctor gravity? D:

Is Kurt Russell playing Mother Russia?

So are the "good" guys called "White Boy" "Light Skinned Man" and "HonkeyTonk"?

LOL. I thought the same thing...
(It's not, is it???)

Her names Lindy Booth; she's on IMDB and her profile pic is a much more innocent looking young thing...

OK, double LOL now.

Mother Russia is a 1st time ACTRESS called Olga Kurkulina. She's a Ukrainian body builder normally, who lives in Israel.
Careful if googling from work; she appears to do a lot of naked bodybuilding photoshoots...

They're all over the place now, but everywhere seems to have sourced them from thr Argentine site.

I see they cast Olga Kurkulina as Mother Russia.

And here I was hoping it was Olga Kurylenko ... Oh, well.

Looks like Denise Welch on 'roids.........

My word, I've just found the next Mrs Rutherford!

Why, cos there's a character called 'Black Death'? Somehow 'African-American Death' just doesn't have the same ring to it... ;-)

Why is black a bad word?!...

I'm not sure, but I believe the name Black Death is satire on the fact nearly every black superhero has the word black in their name.
