First trailer for Kick-Ass 2
A red band trailer arrives for this summer's Kick-Ass 2. And you can see it right here...
It feels like we've been waiting quite a long time for a sequel to the sublime Kick-Ass, and this summer, our wish will be granted with Kick-Ass 2. Jeff Wadlow has taken over directing duties from Matthew Vaughn for the new film, and all of the key cast are back. Thus, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Grace Moretz are all on board. Furthermore, there's the small matter of Jim Carrey amongst the new cast members.
And if you've been longing for a taste of just how Kick-Ass 2 is shaping up, the first trailer has just landed. It's a red band trailer, so don't go looking at it if you're young and impressionable. For the rest of us? Feast your eyes on this...

That bit at the end with Mindy/Hit Girl was all kinds of awesome. And we were stupid enough to think that Hit Girl wouldn't work as well all grown up!

Hey Bob, thats just my opinion of course. I WANT it to be good because I'm a huge fan of the first but nothing about this trailer screamed to me that its better (or even equal) to its predecessor. Still the movie isn't out and I'll keep an open mind.
Actually lets hope the movie is BETTER than the trailer.

oh ok, i think i get you now, but i think thats just that trailers for films like this can never do the finished product any justice :) i still think it will be cool though, just having jim carrey makes it look splendid me thinks

If only they had used the music from Dredd in the Dredd trailer, and not some crappy, remixed pop song.
Well I am more worried atm about them getting a 15 rating from the bbcf then making a concious decision to have it cut to a 12a. And on that day I shall weep.

They didn't use "some crappy, remixed pop song" they used Skream's remix of In For The Kill
Really not sure about this. The first film had a great balance between light and dark, whereas this looks like they're just playing everything for laughs. I'm concerned.
