Confirmed: BBC's Nick Robinson not in Jurassic Park 4

News Simon Brew 18 Oct 2013 - 06:42

Nick Robinson is joining Jurassic World. But, for the sake of avoiding confusion, we've confirmed it's not the BBC's Nick Robinson...

Earlier this week, we ran the story that Nick Robinson, he of The Kings Of Summer, was set to join the cast of Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World, which is set for release in 2015. We pointed out at the time that this Nick Robinson wasn't to be confused with the BBC's political editor of the same name. However, some of you asked us to directly check that we hadn't got this muddled, and to be on the safe side, we Tweeted Nick Robinson - the BBC version - to ask once and for all whether he was set for Jurassic Park 4.

We'll let the man speak for himself.

Next week, we'll be getting to the bottom of whether George Alagiah is a lock for Terminator 5.

To be fair though he would deny it wouldn't he?

Could you double check that they don't accidentally cast J. Goldblum, the legal aid representative from Stockton-On-Tees.

How can you get them confused? One spends his time chasing around a facility full of lumbering genetic throwbacks with tiny prehistoric brains, and the other is Nick Robinson the actor

I'm here all week

That's great, but just tell me Dr. Alan Grant will be gracing us with his presence and I'm good with the movie being awesome.

Now find me someone who doesn't want to see Huw Edwards shotgunning dinosaurs in the face.

So disappointed. Any word on Robert Peston?

Sam Niel said he wouldn't be doing another Jurassic Park a few years back. Said if the team who made the original dinosaurs was doing it and Michael Crichton (author of Jurassic Park and The Lost World) was still alive he might consider it. Unfortunately I doubt we'll hear from the character of Dr. Alan Grant ever again

I'm out.

Keep in mind the logic of most people: They have a long, extensive cry over JP2 but somehow are sold if Jeff Goldblum is in the next one.
