More casting news for Jurassic World
The star of The Kings Of Summer is set to do battle with dinosaurs in Jurassic World...
Colin Trevorrow is slowly but surely putting his cast together for the film formerly known as Jurassic Park 4, Jurassic World. Yesterday, we reported that Ty Simpkins, who appeared in this summer's Iron Man 3, would be taking on a sizeable role in the film. And the young actor is now being joined by Nick Robinson, we've learned. Nick Robinson the actor, incidentally, not Nick Robinson, the BBC's Political Editor. In case you were wondering.
Robinson, 18, sprung to not enough prominence himself over the summer, thanks to his wonderful turn in the equally wonderful The Kings Of Summer. He's set to play Simpkins' older brother in Jurassic World. Bryce Dallas Howard has apparently also been cast (this had been rumoured for a while, but we weren't aware it was definite).
Filming is due to take place in 2014, ahead of a summer 2015 release. As always, we'll keep you posted as we find out more.
