Casting update for Jurassic World
Which faces are going to do battle with the dinosaurs in Jurassic World? Well, one or two names have come to light...
Set for release on June 12th 2015, smack bang in the middle of what's shaping up to be the busiest blockbuster season we've seen, is Jurassic World. As you more than likely already know, it's the long awaited fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise. We're really rather excited about it.
Steven Spielberg will serve as executive producer on Jurassic World, with Colin Trevorrow, director of the rather fantastic Safety Not Guaranteed, set to helm the high profile project. With the release under two years away the focus at the moment seems to be very much on securing talent for the film. Bryce Dallas Howard is rumoured to be in negotiations for a lead role as is New Girl star Jake Johnson, both of whom would be grand pieces of casting for the project.
Now we learn that one actor who appears to be confirmed is Ty Simpkins. Simpkins, whilst only 12 years of age, has eight years experience under his belt already, and has appeared in Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds, both Insidious films, and Iron Man 3. We can't quite remember what we were doing when we were 12 years old, but it wasn't as impressive as that.
