Daniel Craig on new James Bond movie rumours

As Skyfall brings in an awful lot of money, Daniel Craig has been putting things straight on future Bond adventures...

The success of Skyfall, both critically and commercially, has already been widely reported, as has the fact that production is set to start next year on the 24th James Bond adventure, which is being scripted by John Logan. In fact, Logan has been contracted to write two James Bond films, and that's led to speculation that it was a two-part adventure that was in the works.

Not so, says Daniel Craig. The actor told Filmstarts that "It's impossible to do a two parter, I heard that someone was talking about we're doing a two parter, but that's the first I've heard about it. We can only do them one at a time, they take six months to shoot. You can't write one moving thinking about the next".

He added that "all we're trying to do is get the next one sorted out ... and if I'm able I'll do another one after that".

That does shed a tiny bit of doubt on whether Craig will return for Bond 25, but as the man says, one film at a time. Skyfall, meanwhile, opens in the US on November 9th.

Get rid of Daniel Craig & bring in Richard Armitage!

Hasn't he signed on for 2 more?! Hope he at least does that!

Yeah, the world really needs a wooden Bond...........

The thing is, you can write a film with the plot of a second in mind. If they had written Quantum (or at least thought about the plot) at the same time as CR, then perhaps it wouldn't have received the mauling it (unfairly IMO) got. At the very least it wouldn't have been as affected by the writers strike. That said, I'm happy with two independent stories.

Daniel Craig will look like Sid James by the time Bond 25 is made.

Well maybe Disney will buy Bond (since they are spending their billions) and create a Pinocchio-Bond smash-up. Of course the nose thing will be a problem because secret agents need to lie and he should be careful around a fire (so no more sensual evenings with the ladies near the fireplace), but otherwise I would still pay to see this movie!

You misspelled "Ayoade".

love to see hugh jackman as bond...
