Hot Tub Time Machine 2 in the works

Hot Tub Time Machine

A new Hot Tub Time Machine movie, probably without John Cusack, might just be happening...

It may not have been the most revolutionary movie of 2010, but we had quite a lot of fun with Hot Tub Time Machine, the film that saw John Cusack, Craig Robinson, Clarke Duke and Rob Corddry sent back to the 80s. Directed by Steve Pink, the film went on to make $64m at the worldwide box office, but then proved to be a bigger hit on DVD and Blu-ray. And that, we suspect, is why MGM is now after a sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a follow-up is now being seriously considered, although it apparently doesn't involve John Cusack at this stage. Corddry, Robinson and Duke are in "exploratory talks" about returning, with Steve Pink likely to be calling the shots again.

It's still touch and go whether Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will get the green light, but if it does, expect it to press ahead quickly.

I dunno about John Cusack, the star of the film for me was Crispin Glover.

Cusack has to be in it too.. Get the whole gang back!

Cusack has to be in it and the movie has to be about what happened in Cleveland! Otherwise, what's the point?

Surely Chevy Chase will be the lead............

Yes! Love the sentiment dzpcr3, but it was actually Cincinnati that the major mystery event took place homeboy... HTTM 2: The 90's, lets make it happen!!!! With the whole gang back.

This great news as I loved the first movie, I wonder what Time Period they will lampoon this time round, 70s or Mabey the 90s .:)

I really liked the first one. I thought it was really funny. I'd definitely go see this!
