Another quality actor joins the cast for Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy as John C Reilly's involvement is confirmed...

Here's something that was heavily rumoured a few weeks back, and finally seems to be locked in. It seems as though John C Reilly joining the cast of the soon-to-shoot Marvel project Guardians Of The Galaxy is a done deal. He has signed on to play Rhomann Dey, the head of Nova Corps.

The film is an ambitious project that seems like a tricky sell, but given how well Thor worked out when it faced similar levels of doubt ahead of its release, it's certainly worth keeping an open mind. James Gunn, who is helmed the project, is a very talented director and he has one hell of a cast at his disposal here to ensure that the film has plenty in its corner. It should also fit in with the Marvel cinematic universe in interesting ways.

John C Reilly joins a cast that includes Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Glenn Close and Benicio Del Toro so far. And Guardians Of The Galaxy is set for release on August 1st 2014.

"His first name is 'Agent.'"

This film is going to be completely insane, cast alone. Almost every role is being filled by someone who is a big gamble that could either pay off big time or not do well at all. Even the stunt coordinator on this project has only ever worked as a horse master/supplier before... I can't wait to see how this all pans out!

He's here to fcuk s**t up. John C Reilly i'm in

I never thought I'd see Nova on the big screen. I'm in on that alone; talking trees and genemod racoons aside.

I don't think so. More along the lines of ... "His first name is 'Agent.'"

It's a quote from Step Brothers that John's character Dale says

Mine is a quote from The Avengers.

Haha yh got that :P
