New poster reveals more of Godzilla

A brand new poster is unleashed for Gareth Edwards' upcoming Godzilla reboot....

The blockbuster that we're most excited about right now - aided by the wonderful trailer that dropped before Christmas - is Gareth Edwards' reboot of Godzilla for Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures. Edwards won us over with the terrific Monsters, and we're very much looking forward to seeing what he can do with a larger budget. We don't have that much longer to wait.

The wraps are very slowly coming off the new Godzilla himself meanwhile, and the latest evidence is this new poster for the film. You can see it right here, in fact. Just look at that list of names in the cast for a start...

Godzilla arrives in cinemas on May 16th 2014.

Jaeger meets Godzilla. Godzilla wins. That's terrifying!

Now, that's a poster!

It's great to see this.

Could this be one of the grestest remakes of all time?

Nice poster. Still not sure what the parachute guys are supposed to do about him though

Fingers crossed!!

Oh dear! all those poor Tech company employees who've just paid a fortune for a flat in Frisco.

So far everything I've seen about this is project is making me feel positive. Love that poster!

Fantastic poster!

Can't wait for this. Thought it was gonna be another crappy attempt at a reboot until I saw Monsters and then a couple of weeks after, that trailer came out.
Zilla's never looked so bloody excellent.

I was skeptical when this project was announced. Not interested in another monster destroying New York again. - But then the wonderful teaser was released - and now this absolutely evocative poster. Count me in, this is a must see this year!

Epic poster for a (hopefully) epic film.

Tickle his pits.

My boner for this film is bigger than Godzilla's.

This poster blows my mind! Godzilla is roughly twice as big here as the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. That puts him at around 100 stories tall, or 1,000 feet. That also translates out to around 300 meters. This would make him six times as tall as the original Godzilla from 1954 and three times as big as the previous largest Godzilla (1990-95, 2004 100meters).

The movies coming out in 2 months Whaaaaaaaaaat! . wow not long now.

BTW he won't be that big, lots of movies have giant explosions or monsters on the poster to make it seem epic. Godzilla 1998 poster was of a giant foot that was the size of 6 lanes of traffic , in The movie his foot was the size of about 3 cars, not as big as In the poster. In The Poster for some thriller with George Clooney and bruce willis. The explosion on the box art covers all of New York, yet no such explosion happens inThe movies, poster LIE, remember that.

Now this is a movie that I am going to enjoy watching many times :D I fell in deep love with how "Zilla" ( 1998 Godzilla ) looked and everything! This one seems to be a mix of both the Original Godzilla and Zilla. I am so glad they mixed them together. I already have a ticket for this from AMC Theatres in affordable price.
