New trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Here's the latest trailer for the delayed sequel to G.I. Joe, G.I. Joe: Retaliation...

So, the story so far. G.I. Joe: Retaliation, starring The Rock, Channing Tatum and Bruce Willis, was originally set to be released last summer. It wasn’t. Just weeks before it was due out in cinemas, Paramount postponed the release, in spite of the fact that publicity was in full swing, and even press interviews were underway.

The official line is that a 3D bolt-on was being added, but the end result was that G.I. Joe: Retaliation was put back to March 2013. The fact that it avoided the most competitive summer for blockbuster movies in years was probably a key reason too.

With all that in mind, Paramount is rebooting its promotional campaign, and it’s swinging back into action with the release of this brand new trailer for the film. Without further ado, then, here it is…

In the words of a much more entertaining action franchise: "I'm too old for this ****"

Oh good lord just release the damn thing already!

Is this Die Hard?

Is the Queen safe?

The shitty rap tune is not good

I take it Channing Tatum isn't killed off in the opening scene anymore.. I am John McClanes die hard tears.

Die Hard with Bigger Gun?

Though I'll never see this crapfest, I have to admit I got a laugh out of the North Korean guy throwing his hands up when he's singled out...

**SPOILER**
Can't particularly say I care, or can't have guessed this wouldn't happen, but it's a bit of a glaring oversight. I'm also hiding my spoiler in the centre of this paragraph, to deter the people who didn't care for my SPOILER in lovely stars at the top. They show the satellite get blown up at 1:41. I'm sure there's plenty of pretty explosions throughout the movie they could have used, so I find this a little strange. Either way, I suppose most people don't care, I just found it interesting. I'm off to paint models.
