Expect both Steve Carell and Channing Tatum to trouble next year's awards with Foxcatcher. Here's the new teaser trailer...

There's been no shortage of acclaim raining in on Foxcatcher already, off the back of its festival screenings. But the film finally makes it into US cinemas in November, with a UK release scheduled for January 9th 2015.

The movie is based on a true story, and stars both Channing Tatum and Steve Carell in potentially career-best roles. It tells the true story of Olympic gold medal winning wrestler Mark Schultz, in particular when he's invited by wealthy heir John de Point to move onto his estate to train a team for the 1998 Olympics.

Foxcatcher's directed by Bennett Miller, who previously put together Moneyball and Capote. And it looks really rather special. Here's the new teaser trailer...

What the funk was that?! Did they just have spare prosthetic chins lying around and think "Hey let's use these!"

Are you sure this isn't the trailer for SHREK 4?

True story? Check. Comedian playing a serious role? Check. USA triumphs in the face of adversity? Check.

No wonder people are talking awards. Hollywood is so predictable..

"1998 Olympics"

... I assume this is a typo, yes?

'USA triumphs in the face of adversity?'
We should assume that you haven't really read into the film at all then, considering DuPont (Comedian-playing-serious-role Carell) goes on to kill the wrestling prodigy. Hardly an American triumph story.

Uninformed trolls are so predictable..
