New poster: Denzel Washington in Flight

Denzel Washington steps into a pilot’s uniform and looks serious, in the new poster for Robert Zemeckis’ Flight.

You know the drill by now. If a new poster for a big movie is being released, then it’s generally a good sign that a fresh trailer is on the way. And with Robert Zemeckis’ Flight, starring Denzel Washington, set for US release next month, the chances are high that’s the case here.

Flight marks Zemeckis’ first live action film since Cast Away, and it’s his first thriller since What Lies Beneath. We’re intrigued to see it, too, although because we’re in the UK, we won’t get it over here until 1st February 2013. Humbug.

Still, in the meantime, we can at least content ourselves with looking at a picture of Denzel Washington in a cap. Therefore, here’s the new poster for Flight. We’ll let you know if the trailer appears…

Didn't think to let us know what its about. . .

So good to see Zemeckis doing live action again.
Bit of a boring poster though, it looks like he's sucking a boiled sweet.

Here's what they have on IMDB:

"An airline pilot saves a flight from crashing, but an investigation into the malfunctions reveals something troubling."

Maybe Spoilery?

The story depicted closely resembles real-life events occurred in 2001, when Canadian Captain Robert Piche skillfully glided a fuel-less Airbus 330 to a safe landing, saving 306 passengers from a certain crash. Becoming an overnight hero, he quickly learned the other side of fame when a journalist exposed his long forgotten criminal past and private life.

Dull poster, dull title, but the Zemeckis and premise have me interested...

there's already been a trailer for this that pretty much walks you through the whole movie
