Robert Zemeckis’ first live-action movie in a decade, Flight arrives in cinemas this November. Here’s the first trailer…

Not since the release of Cast Away and What Lies Beneath has director Robert Zemeckis tackled a live action project. But with his planned Yellow Submarine performance capture movie hitting the buffers, he turned his attention to a new thriller, Flight. And it's now set for release at the end of the year.

The film stars Denzel Washington, as an airline captain whose actions save many lives in the midst of an emergency. But is he the hero that he’s initially made out to be? Couldn’t tell you, but there’s a trailer that tells you a bit more about the film.

The film co-stars Don Cheadle, John Goodman in a suave shirt, and Bruce Greenwood. And here’s that trailer…

Well that looks interesting, and I've always liked flying. I very much doubt I'll pay to see the movie though. I already know how he landed the plane, how media turn him into a hero, how the lawyers probe his past life and try to discredit him, how survivors families hate and adore him. I can also pretty much guess how the film ends too. Thanks Robert for putting out a trailer guaranteeing I'll stay home and not bother to walk intreagued into your new movie.

Yup Dark Jedi, I can guess the ending too.....

*Potential Spoiler*

He's actually in limbo and must atone for his actions.  Come on Bob, prove me wrong.

it got my attention.  unfortunately, with the frequency i go to the theatre, i end up choosing films that have a lot of spectacle to them--ones that gain the most from a big screen.  human dramas i end up watching on a tv or even a laptop.

it looks a little dry but i am interested in seeing denzel NOT play a cop for once

I wonder if he'll meet up with all his passengers in a church whilst a fat guy live on some island?

At least the plane crash bits look entertaining.

of course, in fact the plane chipped the top of that very church in the trailer.. they'll all meet up in the church right after the crash, him not realizing that he was just the drunken fool who decided to flip a plane and got them all killed.

I thnk its great to have something a little different from the current crop of films.
