Trailer Simon Brew 13 May 2014 - 06:29

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in sci-fi action movie Edge Of Tomorrow. Here's the latest trailer...

Heading into cinemas at the end of the month is Tom Cruise's latest venture into science fiction, Edge Of Tomorrow. Once known as All You Need Is Kill, the name of the novel that inspired it, Edge Of Tomorrow sees Cruise in the fight against aliens, having to die time and time again courtesy of a time loop.

The film arrives in UK cinemas on May 30th, and it's been directed by Doug Liman. An extended trailer has just been released too, and you can see that below. Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton lead the supporting cast.

Even more extended than the last one??? I think I already know too much from viewing the last one. Won't watch this then. Damn trailers that spoil the whole film...

Second most (non-superhero) anticipated film of the summer for me, can't wait!

DON'T WATCH THE TRAILER!! Unless you want to go into the movie knowing pretty much EVERYTHING!!

Agreed. But I've read the story, and if they stick to it, I already know what's going to happen.

Don't watch the trailers, just wait for the movie. It has great potential.

I agree. What is the point of trailers that give away the entire plot?! On the plus side, at least I know not to waste my money now.

Looks awesome!

All You Need Is Kill was the better title.

thank you guys for warning others. you have fallen to the spoiler, but you won't be forgotten

Titles,bah,who's bothered when there's explosions,exoskeletons,cool guns,frickin aliens,Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Mwahahaha

Agreed. Edge of Tomorrow is a terrible title. Sounds so naff

Yay! Now I've seen roughly 5% of the film and have a pretty good idea of how the first hour and a bit will pan out. Exactly what I look for in a trailer.

Looks pretty awesome! Despite all those BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS.

Just bland isn't it? Sounds like a Prog Rock album. Doesn't sell the/any particular concept at all.

Inception happened - unfortunately, we can never go back...

Have you seen the movie? If not, how do you know how much the trailer gives away? You might be right - it certainly wouldn't be the first time a trailer gave away too much - but I've seen plenty of trailers which appeared to tell you everything, only for the movie itself to be very different from what I expected.
