New trailer lands for Divergent

Trailer Simon Brew 4 Feb 2014 - 16:26

Shailene Woodley stars in the big screen adaptation of Veronica Roth's Divergent. Here's the new trailer...

The last time we saw a movie directed by Neil Burger, we get the almost-brilliant Limitless, a really good film starring Bradley Cooper, that just felt like it stumbled at the final hurdle. It's still well worth seeking out, mind.

He's followed it up with something much higher profile, by adapting Divergent. Based on the novel by Veronica Roth, and intended as the first part of a cinematic series (although Burger has already ducked out of directing the next one), the film stars Shailene Woodley, Maggie Q, Jai Courney and Kate Winslet. And it's heading to cinemas in the US on March 21st (the UK release is early April).

What's more, we've got a final trailer for the movie right here. Take a look at this and see what you reckon...

(Apologies for the MSN embed, we know lots of you aren't keen on these - we'll try and update the post with a YouTube version as soon as we can)

Meh. Teenage rubbish imho. Oooh a special teenager, with some unique ability, in a dystopian future. Never seen that before. Fancy remains untickled :)
