New poster and trailer for A Good Day To Die Hard

Ready for Die Hard 5? Here's a new poster, and a better trailer, for A Good Day To Die Hard...

If we’re being frank about things, the signs haven’t been looking too positive for A Good Day To Die Hard. It seems to take the franchise so far away from the core of Die Hard, on paper at least, what with John McClane and his son trying to save the planet whilst in Russia. Furthermore, with due respect to the man, director John Moore would appear to be no fan’s first choice to direct the movie. Moore’s Max Payne film never connected convincingly to the source material of the game it was based on, after all.

But it might yet work out. We maintain that Die Hard 4.0 was better than many give it credit for, even if it didn’t feel like a Die Hard film per se. And perhaps that’ll be the case with A Good Day To Die Hard.

Right now, we’ve got a new poster with a slightly cringeworthy tagline, anyway, and there’s also been a fresh trailer. So take a look at both of those - and the trailer's quite promising - and begin planning your Valentine’s Day for 2013. A Good Day To Die Hard is released, after all, in February 14th…

Hmm, not convinced. I'm a big Bruce fan but I think he should have stepped away from mcclane 2 films ago...

"the trailer's quite promising"

Is it ? Looks like some basic action movie, far from what the original trilogy was.

Can't Wait to see another Die Hard Movie this is going to be a great Winter Flick since we dont have any JACK BAUER on the big screen yet

Dan Kirkman Bellingham Wa

Yay, Mary Elisabeth Winstead! Hope she's in it for more than five seconds.

Needs more Christmas

I wonder what your reaction would be if they had pressed on with the Die Hard/24 crossover idea. ;-)

Looks great i loved ALL the die Hard films
But Kudos to this installment looks like its going for more humour again

Actually i love that poster...its fairly clever and delivers a joke and a clear idea of what the movie is....AND the movie looks like it has some continuity....something the was completely missing from DH4

Meh, I'm not convinced.. Will no doubt watch it at some point, but the truth is that with the exception of the excellent first movie, they've all been a little bit rubbish.

I'm not a huge fan of the last 2 Die Hard Movies and I'm not convinced this looks like a Die Hard movie yet either but Jesus Christ I had a massive Cheshire Cat grin on my face watching that trailer :D

I loved Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard 4.0) It was a great Modern Techno thriller mixed with a hard core action Film and Bruce Willis was brilliant as usual. This better be brilliant or at least on par with Die Hard 4 and Die Hard 2 (best action movie of all time)
