Warner Bros registers domains for new DC movies

The identity of a quartet of DC movies might just have been revealed, courtesy of domain name registrations....

This feels like the old days. A few years back, getting clues to the identity of movies by spotting which domain names a studio had registered was a regular sport. Less so now perhaps, but it's via this methodology that, for instance, we learned that the last James Bond film was going to be called Skyfall, in advance of the official announcement.

Well, Flickering Myth has uncovered four new domain name registrations on behalf of Warner Bros that seem to suggest the identity of a quartet of upcoming DC movies. They don't offer huge surprises, but the four domains in question are JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, WonderWomanTheMovie.com and AquamanMovie.com.

Those four do tally with previous rumoured projects (our understanding is that the Shazam movie for a start is edging closer to production), and it's no secret that Justice League is already a definite. Given that the studio has announced dates for nine unnamed DC movies through until 2019 though, we've still got another five to track down...
