The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!
Simon Brew
The final cut of the new Batman film has been delivered - and it ain't short...
We knew there was a lot to squeeze in where the new Batman film was concerned, but that hasn't stopped us doing a double-take at the confirmed final running time for the film.
For it's been revealed that The Dark Knight weighs in at over two and a half hours in length, making it the longest Batman film to date. It's also, according to a report at Digital Spy, been given a 12A rating.
The first reviews for the film have also started to drift in, and they seem to show that the film delivers, and then some. We still can't wait...

Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!152 minutes is a little excessive.
Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!I bet the first hour is really slow and dull and nothing happens, like with many films these days.
Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long! That's a bit long for a film about a man in a rubber suit...
Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!Awesome! I like my films to be value for money! This also gives them a proper chance to flesh out The Joker and Harvey Dent/Two-Face without fear of cramming it all into 90 minutes. I'm guessing they will build the Joker up as a criminal first rather than go through the origin and then have him as a crime lord or something (I read that they don't even show his origin in the film). I sooo can't wait for this film!
Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!1) Excellent, At least we wont have seen EVERYTHING in the trailers
Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!ummmmm have you guys ever seen Batman Begins? last time I checked, its 140 minutes. So a movie that's 12 minutes longer then that isn't that big of a deal

Re: The Dark Knight: 152 minutes long!Good! If they expect me to pay more than the price of the DVD for two people to see it in the theater (and at least that much again in concessions), I expect an experience. 90 minutes of fluff doesn't do it for me...I want 2.5 hour epics. Otherwise I'll just rent it on Blu-Ray for far less money spent and watch it in 1080p in my home theater room. One nice thing about that is that there aren't any rude people talking on their cell phones in my home theater.
