Brand new footage from The Dark Knight

Simon Brew

In the midst of a new featurette about The Dark Knight, some new footage has emerged...

The countdown to the most eagerly awaited film of the year for many of us at Den Of Geek continues, with The Dark Knight heading to cinemas towards the back end of July.

As time ticks by, more and more information is emerging, and the latest comes in the form of an IMAX featurette, that includes some new footage of the film that we've not seen before. Just the mere thought of seeing this film on an IMAX screen is a very exciting thing indeed, and so we continue to cross days of the calendar in wild anticipation.

Here's the clip: may the salivations begin...

To be told how great the film will look in IMAX in a tiny Youtube style video makes me feel a bit like I'm being taunted. Dark Knight still looks great. It's all very exciting.

The Imax print will be the YouTube video blown up onto a mammoth screen, though. Honest.

I'd probably still pay to see it.

I saw Batman Begins on IMAX and couldn't stop smiling throughout. Have to see The Dark Knight that way too, although I've just realised I'm actually on holiday back end of July so I fear I won't get to see it until August. Bum.
