New trailer for Cloud Atlas

There’s a bit of new footage to be seen in the new trailer for Cloud Atlas…

Let’s briefly sum Cloud Atlas up, then. A massively ambitious adaptation of David Mitchell’s book of the same name, it’s a big budget, R-rated movie, with a large cast, and a lot to get across in a trailer. It’s been directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski, as well as Tom Tykwer, and the cast features the likes of Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent and Hugo Weaving.  And from what we’ve seen so far, it might just be something a bit special.

Here’s a second trailer for the film, which has a small amount of new material. The movie itself is due for release at the end of October in the US, although sadly we have to wait until March in the UK to see it. Sigh. Hopefully someone will have a word about that.

First I've heard of it, but wow. That got me hooked in a big way.

It's one of those films I have no idea what to expect from at all. but the trailers do enough to make me want to see it. It's been a long time since I've felt like that about a movie. It's an exciting feeling, I hope the knock it out the park

The Wachowskis are a bit hit and miss but you can't underestimate their talent.

You might not like the last film they make but that doesn't mean you won't like the next one.

And for me, that means they could really trying.

I admit, I've been a tad wary of this film so far, but the trailer got me excited. Wat's the point of the R-rating, though? I would have loved to see this as a kid
