The kidnap thriller Captive could provide a future starring role for Bruce Willis...

It was only the other day that it suddenly dawned on us just how prolific Bruce Willis has been over the last couple of years. Did you know that in 2012 he was credited on new fewer than six films?

The next Willis joint on the horizon is Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's sequel to their hyper-stylised 2005 film. Further ahead, there's The Prince, which is some sort of kidnap thriller starring John Cusack and 50 Cent.

Clearly intent on keeping himself busy, Willis' latest potential project is called Captive, which is another thriller, this time about a millionaire held to ransom in Brazil and a detective attempting to track him down.

Captive was initially intended as a vehicle for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who's since dropped out. Director Simon Brand - who previously made 2006's Unknown, not to be confused with the more recent Liam Neeson flick - will start filming the movie in March.

We're not entirely sure whether Willis will play the kidnapped millionaire or the cop trying to rescue him - we're guessing it's the latter - but when we find out more, we'll let you know.

Prolific yes. But with the exception of Looper and Moonrise Kingdom, his recent films have been bollocks.

don't bother bruce, no one in their right mind wants to watch you get paid millions to phone in another performance

Bruce Willis - Living proof that quantity doesn't equal quality!

I haven't heard of Moonrise Kingdom and Looper is ridiculous.. so to correct your statement: ALL his recent films have been bollocks!

You haven't heard of -or more especially, watched- MOONRISE KINGDOM? You must remedy that immediately!

Couldn't have said it better.

Come on, GI Joe Retaliation was great :)

What so he can phone in another performance. He hasn't been reliable in a film since Pulp Fiction.

Sir, yes sir!
Right away sir!
Placed in my to watch list, sir!

At once!

...OK, dismissed.

NOBODY'S FOOL, DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE, 12 MONKEYS, LAST MAN STANDING, ARMAGEDDON, BREAKFAST AT CHAMPIONS, THE SIXTH SENSE, THE STORY OF US, THE KID, UNBREAKABLE, BANDITS, HART'S WAR, HOSTAGE, 16 BLOCKS, ALPHA DOG, LOOPER, MOONRISE KINGDOM... Not all of them good movies per se, but at least engaged performances from Willis ever since.

Bruce Willis was the bald boxer dude in PULP FICTION. You sure you don't mean somebody else?

...and he's already been in a film called Hostage. THAT'S how prolific the man is; they're running out of movie titles.

Die hard 5 was alright

Worst movie of last year.

Looper was garbage.

Even the blatantly obvious green screen was wincing in virtually every action scene.
