The Bourne Legacy casting latest
Universal continues to flesh out its cast for The Bourne Legacy. But who’s joining Jeremy Renner and Edward Norton in the new film?
Whatever your thoughts on Universal pressing ahead with a new Bourne movie that doesn’t have Jason Bourne in it, there can surely be no grumbling with the calibre of the cast that it’s putting together for The Bourne Legacy.
Already with Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Albert Finney and Joan Allen on board, the latest addition to The Bourne Legacy is Stacy Keach.
You might not be familiar with the name, but you’ll surely recognise the face. Keach has appeared in TV shows such as Lights Out and Prison Break, and is a regular face on the big and small screen. Plus, he provided a voice in The Rugrats, so that earns him bonus points.
Variety reports that Keach will take on a similar role to Finney’s and Allen’s, meaning he’s going to be someone with a bit of power, and no doubt not making life easier for Jeremy Renner’s character (the movie's Bourne replacement of sorts).
Tony Gilroy is writing and directing The Bourne Legacy, which has been earmarked for release on 3rd August 2012.
