HBO is looking to resurrect Bored To Death on the big screen, it's been revealed...

It's not often it happens, but a television show that ended on something of a cliffhanger looks like it's going to get a big screen adventure to give it a chance to resolve a few things (and potentially, you'd have to say, kickstart lots of others).

HBO's Bored To Death's third season came to a close at the end of 2011, leaving behind an unresolved ending. Now, it looks like the show has got a fresh lease of life. The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that Jonathan Ames, the creator of Bored To Death, is working on a movie version.

It's set to feature Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson (all present and correct from the TV show), and the project is now in development. We'll keep you posted on, as not much more information is available right now.

While they work on that, then, we've got one question: can we have a Deadwood movie next please?
