Harrison Ford joins Anchorman 2
Ron Burgundy might just have another rival in Anchorman: The Legend Continues, as Harrison Ford signs up...
Harrison Ford, you might conclude, had rather a good time working on the recent rom-com, Morning Glory. It's not a bad little movie either, giving Ford one of his best recent roles as a gruff, miserable news anchor, who gets switched to breakfast television. And Rachel McAdams is great in it too.
Back to Ford, though. He's set to take on the role of a news anchor again for his next project, which just happens to be Anchorman: The Legend Continues. It's been revealed that he's the latest addition to the now-shooting comedy sequel, which is seeing Will Ferrell reprising the lead role of Ron Burgundy.
Ford joins a cast that also includes Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good. Steve Carell and Paul Rudd are amongst the other returnees.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues is currently set for release on December 20th. Harrison Ford, meanwhile, has Ender's Game and Paranoia amongst his other incoming projects. He is also having to devote a proportion of his time to fending off Star Wars rumours, no doubt...!
