The new Dark Knight trailer
Kevin Pocock
At last: a brand new trailer for The Dark Knight has leaked. Kevin joins the queue of people 'very excited' by the forthcoming Batman film...

'Why sooo seriousss?'
One of the sickly seductive sound-bites from a not wholly legal trailer of the upcoming Batman addition. We know what this films about, it's in the title. It's meant to be dark, it's meant to be psychologically subterranean, bleak in its portrayal of Gotham, and an altogether devilish incarnation of The Joker is meant to be distinctly 'Loki' (Loco) to the core. 'No name, no other alias'. Police are as disturbed about the villain as we are consumed by his pure, twisted glee.
Did I get all this from a trailer? Yes, because the trailer's bloody incredible. And I don't say that lightly. How can I when the footage oozes oppressive shadow? Clipped action scenes which my mind races to colour in, snippets of dialogue so sweet and a unerring knowledge that only one man's resolve can attempt to cleanse the darkness he is a part of.
Batman found his home in the neo-Gothic cityscape of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight now revels in his new spiritual home. Make no mistake, you need to see this. And here's the link.
