Shut up fool! It's The A-Team movie!

It's true: The A-Team are coming to the big screen. Let the casting speculation begin...
Published on Dec 12, 2007
The latest raiding of the TV back catalogue has, almost inevitably, arrived at the door of The A-Team, with news that a big screen version is a goer.
The film is set to be directed by John Singleton, whose debut movie – Boyz N The Hood – remains by some distance his best. He’s also directed 2 Fast 2 Furious and the Samuel L Jackson Shaft remake. On his day, he's a good director, but the more commercial he goes, the less interesting his films get. And you can't get more commercial, surely, than The A-Team?
What’s more, the tone looks like it’s going to be shifted somewhat to accommodate the big screen transfer. Don’t expect the cartoon style of the television show, if a report in USA Today is to be believed. Instead, the report cites that The A-Team will “reflect contemporary issues and politics”, and that it’s aiming for a Die Hard-esque tone. Not sure why it needs to do that, but there you go.
No news yet on the casting, but there’s surely a big question mark around BA. Who, other than the T, could play him? Answers in the comments box - because we couldn't come up with one name who could fill the shoes of the great man.
