Star Trek: is this the new Enterprise?
John Moore
The new Star Trek film is going before the cameras - and could this be the shape of the new Enterprise?
Published on Dec 4, 2007
I just think it looks cool, it certainly ups the ante a little bit more for a film I couldn’t be more excited about already. I had a chat with friend of J J Abrams and Heroes star Greg Grunberg recently, and to hear how excited he is about what his mate is up to with Star Trek was infectious as hell. Would he confirm his participation in the project?
Would he ‘eck as like… Not even when I asked him to give me ‘one beep for yes, two beeps for no’ on rumours that he’s to play Kirk’s predecessor.
So take a look, and enjoy the excitement I felt on seeing the Enterprise re-imagined… I especially like the nacelles, and the battered to shit exterior. Maybe Captain Pike wasn’t so great at parking…? And is that a little bit of phaser damage at 5 O’Clock?
Altogether now… Doo doo da da da-da daaaaaaah.
