Joe Johnston’s UK shoot of Captain America: The First Avenger continues, and new images arrive from the set in Manchester…
As regular visitors to this site will already know, filming for Joe Johnston’s adaptation of Captain America has been underway for the past few weeks. We’ve already had our first glimpse of the suit Chris Evans will be wearing, which we brought to you a couple of weeks ago.
Most recently, the production has shifted to Manchester, where the city’s Northern Quarter has been transformed into a 1940s Brooklyn. The website Captain America Filming In Manchester has been delivering candid images from the set over the past few days, where Captain America’s production team have been shooting a car chase.
Manchester’s no stranger to film shoots, with the city recently used as a stand-in for Victorian London in Sherlock Holmes, and an 80s London in the BBC Boy George drama Worried About The Boy.
