Everything I see about this flick makes me worried. The suit looks bad - the mask especially. I have a feeling this can only be redeemed by Blake Lively wearing minimal clothing.

Green Lantern character posters come to light

Ryan Lambie

Four shiny new posters surface of Warner Bros' forthcoming comic book adaptation, Green Lantern, and you can see them right here...

Warner Bros has brought this shiny collection of Green Lantern character posters to our attention, featuring Ryan Reynolds, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong and Blake Lively in their respective roles as Hal Jordan, Hector Hammond, Sinestro and Carol Ferris.

Like the Sucker Punch posters we saw emerge from Comic-Con a couple of days ago, these designs for director Martin (Casino Royale) Campbell's Green Lantern are photoshopped to within an inch of their lives (with his moustache and forehead full of fake veins, the brilliant Peter Sarsgaard is barely recognisable as Peter Sarsgaard), the way they fit together as the left- and right-hand parts of a double poster is pretty neat.

With Green Lantern currently in post-production, and the finished movie not scheduled until next summer, expect the Warner hype machine to churn out plenty more trailers, production stills and posters over the coming months, which we'll, of course, bring to you as soon as they appear.
