There’s new footage to be seen in the new featurette for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Vs The World…

We might have already mentioned a few times that we're really looking forward to Scott Pilgrim Vs The World a lot. The story of Scott Pilgrim, who can only be with the girl of his dreams if he defeats her seven evil exes, has been looking quite brilliant since we first saw the trailer for it.

Under the stewardship of director Edgar Wright, the early footage demonstrated a terrific-looking genuine comic book approach, and this brand new feature - after some talking heads from Wright and star Michael Cera, among others - offers quite a lot of footage we've not seen of the film before.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World arrives in the US on 13th August, and the UK on 25th August. Here's that new promo video...

I know I've said it before, but: great bass! Looks like my own Rick4001, but without the pull-pots, SD pickups and custom laser-cut stainless steel scratch-plate. (Did I mention that I LOVE my bass?) :¬) Can't view the video from here (blocked), so of course it may actually SOUND rubbish! Can he play it?

Sorry for the totally selfish rant, but it ain't "Bassthang" for nothing! I've always loved those Rickenbacker basses since I was a kid.

Why did they choose Michael cera??? (ok, I know WHY..... so rather..) Why isn't the world a better place where actors are hired for the role, rather than to get 20-year-old hipster girls to buy tickets /cries.

"I'm in lesbians with you." I'm literally still laughing while typing this. This movie looks great and hopefully micheal cera will be able to break out of his shell as always playing socially awkward teenagers, which scott pilgrim isnt
