Kick-Ass: new character posters
Simon Brew
Yet more new posters for Kick-Ass! Just in case you aren’t aware of the film yet…
There's no shortage of Kick-Ass publicity materials arriving right now, in this case, primarily down to the fact that two studios are promoting it. There's Lionsgate in the US, who appears to have been playing things a little safer. And there's the edgier material that's been coming off the Universal publicity machine in the UK.
These latest character posters from the UK aren't that edgy though, to be fair, but they are the work of the UK publicity drive. In response, Lionsgate has upped its game and come up with some cool new character posters of its own, which have promptly reseized the initiative. We quite like this - a competition between two studios over the same film. Long may it continue.
The film itself, as we might have mentioned, is released on 26th March. And we're finally - finally! - allowed to put our review live tomorrow.
To pass the time until then, here are the latest posters...
