Dodgy photoshop work, as the girl is simply pasted into the frame and not in the right size in relation to her distance to Freddy. Too bad that the new guy playing Freddy is way shorter than Robert Englund: Now it's become a Nightmare on Leprechaun Street!

Yup Freddy it's pretty short now, i wonder how that's gonna work. And yes, the poster is terrible, it could only make sense if she was cut at the ribs high and then we are looking at the torso. The face also is badly pasted on a dark silhouette.

Let alone the exactly identical two walls... it gets worst the longer you look at it.

I think the poster is pretty cool! The reaching shadow of Mr. Fred Kruger with the famous razor glove. It is crappy Photoshop, but, I think the girl is having one of those nightmares where you can run as you are sinking into the floor... fluid movements around her waist and Freddy's feet?

The tag line made me think "He knows if you are sleeping, he knows if you're awake, he knows if you've been good or bad, so be good for goodness sake." It's Santa Claus/Claws!

New poster for A Nightmare On Elm Street

The remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street edges closer, as a new poster is revealed…

Another piece of publicity material has been spat out of the A Nightmare On Elm Street marketing machinery. Following on from a trailer, new pictures and a poster last week, Warner Bros has now revealed another brand new poster for the film. Again, it's following the template of keeping Freddy Krueger in the shadows, but given that this is a Platinum Dunes remake project, we'd be surprised if he's kept there for long in the finished movie. That said, this is one project that may yet surprise us.

A Nightmare On Elm Street hits US cinemas on 30th April, and it'll be arriving in the UK on 7th May.
